The Hansford HS-420 family is a range of 4-20 mA loop-powered vibration transmitters with signal conditioning electronics integrated into the sensor body. With 12-30 Vdc two-wire supply it connects directly to your existing PLC, DCS and SCADA analog input cards — no separate vibration analyzer, signal conditioner or data collector required.

The family is structured around seven distinct sub-series: HS-420 (single velocity output mm/s), HS-421 (dual output — velocity + AC acceleration spectrum), HS-422 (single acceleration g output), HS-473 and HS-483 (triaxial — single-mount X/Y/Z three-axis measurement), HS-420d (ATEX Ex d flameproof — explosion-proof housing) and HS-429 (on-site trip relay — alarm/shutdown without PLC). Within each series you choose Top / Side Exit, M12 / 2-Pin MS / 3-Pin MS / 8-Pin M12 connectors, PUR / Braided / Silicon / Flame Retardant (FR) / HFFR / FEP cables, 316L stainless steel (L) and Pt100 temperature output variants (RT, ST, SRT).

Stainless steel housing (316L optional), IP65 / IP67 / IP68 ratings, ISO 10816 and ISO 20816 compliant measurement, 100 m submersible variants (10 bar) and 5000 g maximum shock rating make the family suitable for the industry's harshest environments. Two parallel routes for hazardous areas: Ex ia (HS-420I-M / HS-422I-M / HS-421I) with barrier or Ex d (HS-420d) barrier-free flameproof housing.
